Our Story
At DeStress Express Massage Therapy,
we focus on caring for the body, mind, and spirit of our clients. Our staff of Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs) cater to each individual's needs and comforts to creating a care plan tailored to you. Therapies include massage, facial treatments, aromatherapy, and trigger point work. Whether you are wanting to relax or you are looking to work on a specific issue, look no further than our team of dedicated professionals.
Mobile Massage Location
This is an outcall/mobile massage therapy business, meaning we travel to our clients' homes, where we set up and work in your environment. Let us worry about the traffic! We serve San Antonio and surrounding areas. For clients located within Loop 1604, travel is included in session cost. For all others, additional travel costs may apply.
Meet Our Staff
All of our Massage Therapists are currently licensed to practice in the state of Texas, have passed a full background check and fingerprint investigation by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations, and are looking forward to working with you.
What to Expect from your Session:
- Our LMT will arrive 15 minutes early, to allow for set up time.
- They will need access to a sink to wash hands and set up hot towels.
- At your first appointment, the initial consultation interview will take place to go over safety policies, get a medical history, note any preferences, and to create an individualized treatment plan. (NOTE: All personal information is protected under The HIPAA Privacy Act, and will only ever be used to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the therapies provided.)
- Once a consultation is done, the LMT will let you know how to get on the table, depending on treatment, and will step out of the room behind closed doors so that you may undress and get between the two sheets on the table. Please remain fully dressed until instructed otherwise.
- Each therapy session and consultation will last exactly the amount of time scheduled, with the setup/breakdown time being separate.
- At the end of the session, post-session consult, re-booking, and completion of payment will be handled. We accept Venmo, Zelle, and Cash only. 10% discount applied towards cash payments.
Tips for a perfect massage experience, every time:
- When choosing a space in your home to have your massage, keep in mind it needs to be private for the therapy session duration from other people and animals.
- We are happy to work on minors 12 years or older, but a parent/guardian must be present for intake paperwork as well as for the therapy session.
- Please bathe before every massage, and we will do the same!
- A minimum floor space requirement of 7 by 9 feet is needed for us to be able to set up, clear of all items, per client.
- Please have an electrical plug nearby and available for our towels and table warmers.
- Please have a list of medical conditions and medications ready for the consultation form.
- If you have long hair, please have a hair tie/clip available to put your hair up for the session.
Referral Program & Discounts
- Any client who refers a friend will receive 20% off (per referral) at next appointment, once their friend has completed their appointment.
Prices & Payments Policy
We accept Cash, Venmo, or Zelle in person at the time of service. Cost is simple, 1$ per minute with a 60 minute minimum (60$) and a 120 minute maximum(120$). All therapies described below can be incorporated into any appointment.
